    I'm an Iowa guy. Meaning Iowa raised. Dan Gable is a God in Iowa. Like in ghostbusters. He's a God. Not, THE GOD.

    To this day that’s still not 2 swipes. Never broke 90 and was still rolling through

    • @xenonmaster6668
      @xenonmaster6668 3 місяці тому

      It’s 90 only in HIGH SCHOOL. It’s 45 in college. Also, it’s a roll through where Tony caught Tyler and it was the tiebreakers and Tyler picked BOTTOM!!!! So it’s not a scramble. If you get caught like this in the tiebreaker and your shoulder is 45 degrees it’s counted as backpoints.

    • @romansutton6813
      @romansutton6813 3 місяці тому

      @@xenonmaster6668I’m pretty sure back for these OT Tyler didn’t pick anything. After the one minute and no one has scored a take down, each man gets 30 seconds on bottom and whoever has the most points at the end is declared the winner. So Tyler didn’t “choose BOTTOM” like you are saying.

    • @romansutton6813
      @romansutton6813 3 місяці тому

      @@xenonmaster6668also when you break 90 in HS that’s where the count starts. So if he never even broke 90 how could he break 45?

    • @xenonmaster6668
      @xenonmaster6668 2 місяці тому

      @@romansutton6813 yes Tyler picked bottom. He won the toss or Ramos deferred. You have always been able to pick choice in the tiebreakers if you win/get choice from the opponent deferring the toss. The tiebreakers are like the 2nd&3rd period and the 2nd set is the person who didn’t win the toss in the first gets choice immediately when the tiebreakers start without flipping the coin and the 3rd the ultimate tiebreakers they flip the coin again. The UTB is the last period of the match. Ride for :30 or escape. Whatever result happens their the winner.

    If you don't mind answering publicly, how much did it cost to have Terry come out for a clinic? I know this was probably 10 years ago judging by the camera and the shoes I see, but I'm curious about the cost of booking him...

    My twin brother and I did winner stays with him back when he was at UTC in 2002-05. He start out slow and we may score once if we were fortunate at the start but as soon as he was warm, he would stay in the entire time and not give up one takedown. We were known for breaking people, but he could literally push both of us to the breaking point when we were getting breaks lol. I don't think he knows how good he was. I watched him make an olympic silver medalist at his weight that just made the greco olympic team look like they had never wrestled. He could've won the olympics without training to save his body, but he would've never done that. In spite of his awesomeness, he was a humble man that helped us out more than we could ever repay.

    I remember Cory Clark almost beat 2x NCAA Champ McDonough in a wrestle off back in 2013 while in 2014 Gilman and Clark battled for starting spots at 125. Meanwhile, Delgado took a Loss to Gilman that year at Midlands. Clark ended up winning a title in 2017 while Gilman went on to becoming an Olympic Bronze and World Champion despite never winning an NCAA title
